Around The World In A Day is Prince's seventh studio album and the second credited to Prince and the Revolution. Released on April 22, 1985, it marked a bold artistic pivot, away from the funk-driven dominance of Purple Rain and into something far more adventurous. Drawing on psychedelic rock, Middle Eastern textures, folk instrumentation, and kaleidoscopic pop, Prince signaled that no genre could contain him. The album features four singles (including “Raspberry Beret” and “Pop Life”) and stands today as one of the most daring left turns in popular music history.
This 2025 Remaster was handled by original mastering engineer Bernie Grundman, with additional mastering by Chris James, bringing a new sonic depth to one of Prince's most underrated records, pressed on blue marble color vinyl and released November 21, 2025.
