Pressed on double 180-gram vinyl and housed in a gatefold jacket, this remastered edition of Metallica's 5x-platinum Load is part of the official Metallica remaster collection. Produced by Bob Rock, Load stands as the follow-up to Metallica (The Black Album) and features fan anthems including "Until It Sleeps," "Hero of the Day," and "King Nothing."
For the first time ever, this pressing includes the original full-length version of "The Outlaw Torn," previously edited due to vinyl manufacturing constraints at the time of the 1996 release. Remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering, with executive production overseen by Greg Fidelman and vinyl lacquers hand-cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
