One of hard rock's most elusive lost classics is back, and this time, preserved the right way.
Armageddon's self-titled debut turns 50, and this limited 180-gram red vinyl pressing on a gatefold jacket is how it deserves to be owned. Recorded in England and released in 1975 on A&M Records, the album brought together one of the most decorated lineups ever assembled under a single name: Keith Relf (The Yardbirds, Renaissance) on vocals, Martin Pugh (Steamhammer) on guitar, Louis Cennamo (Renaissance, Steamhammer) on bass, and Bobby Caldwell (Captain Beyond) behind the kit. The original liner notes called them a supergroup. Fifty years later, that label still holds.
This pressing is limited. Once it's gone, it's gone. And it won't be found like this again.
